Experience shifts, improvement and growth
Every coaching engagement is aligned with my clients’ long-term development objectives as well as emerging short-term needs.
I follow the Thrivin People Acuity impactful approach of coaching from interdependence, and integrate their strengths alignment and strengths strategies methodologies to facilitate self-discovery and self-leadership for improved energy (well-being) & performance, decisions, results and relationships.
I successfully support my coaching clients on their unique journeys towards e.g.:
Personal Development
Career Development
Leadership Development
I started coaching corporate clients in 2006 and started to include private individuals and university students in 2020.
My Career Overview
From “career guidance” I received in high school, I initially enrolled for a degree that I would have regretted. To this day I am thankful for the coaching conversation I had with someone (with exposure across industries and professions) only 2 weeks before starting my first year at university, that lead to me completely changing my career direction and, as a result, my life journey.
The first 10 years of my career was in corporate human resources and organisational development roles at listed companies, followed by 23 years as a business owner and consultant, facilitator and coach.
I had a signature ‘fluid career’ where I contributed across various roles, business functions, industries, and initiatives.
My experience includes career management, change management and human resource management. I worked in and for numerous clients across 15 industries, located in 22 countries across five continents.
In addition to part-time lecturing at two universities, I have served in leadership roles on Boards (for a non-profit youth empowerment organisation and a university, and as a Chairman of a Board of Directors), three professional committees, and three school advisory committees.
After living as a family in Qatar for seven years and travelling to more than 44 countries, I actively maintain a worldwide professional network and stay in touch with global & domestic trends and the new world of work. I have been interviewed on radio on ‘quiet quitting’ and ‘career pivoting’ and presented at public conferences.
I am also a wife and mother. I am thankful that I could use my experience and skills to coach my twin boys (now university students) during their life journeys and with their school subject, career and other decisions.
